Finally, ... Skater Ian!

I ordered this stamp about three months ago, and promptly inked him up and colored him in with my Copics, and cut him out. And there he sat, in my images basket until I got the large star punch from SU. Then the image and the punch sat idle for a few more weeks, and finally, ... viola! We have a completed card!
I am rather pleased with how the coloring turned out. I'm getting a little better with the blending. I'd love to take a Copics course. A friend just recently got her Copics certification and I'm working on getting a little tutoring from her. Until then, practice makes perfect!

Polymer Dabblings

A little something I whipped up with polymer clay, paint (glow in the dark too!), and wood. This was inspired by some art I saw at a Dios De Los Muertos celebration. It was a perfect gift for my creepiest friend, Katt's birthday. I still have to make one for myself.

Isn't she precious?

Here she is! She was delivered on May 2nd, 2009. She weighed 12 pounds and is the most perfect shade of pink I have ever seen.
It was LOVE at first sight! I knew we belonged together. My life never really had any meaning before she came along. Now I have a purpose in life.

Who could say no to that beautiful shining pink gem?! My Hello Kitty Sizzix Big Shot has made me a better person. I love her so much. She is truly a gift from above.

Happy Anniversary to the Corpsegrynders

One of my very best friends Katt, and her husband of five years, Josh celebrated their anniversary yesterday and this is the card that I made for them using Anya and Ian stamps from The Greeting Farm.

Katt and Josh are such unique "characters", that it was realitively easy and fun to make this card for them. It was a bit frustrating trying to get her hair right, but it came out perfect in the end.
Josh and his signature goatee (flocked) and tattoos. It was hard to give the tattoos any details, so I just sorta got the shapes and colors close enough to make it obvious.
They LOVED their card and that makes it worth all the effort.
